Groups at Tresca

There are many groups at Tresca in which local people get together to pursue their favourite activity or indulge in a passion, further a hobby or simply enjoy each other's company.

Tresca

Community Garden 

Tresca, Community, Garden
Tresca's organic garden is maintained by volunteers, and the delicious produce harvested here is for sale at the Op Shop on Mondays and Thursdays when in season. 

Men's Shed 

Men's Shed, Tresca
Tresca has a purpose built Men's Shed onsite. It is set up for woodworking & has a wide array of equipment & machinery.
Phone the shed Coordinator on: 0475 216 442 for inquiries or the Tresca office.

Open Monday, Wednesday and Friday 
9am to 3pm



Art Group

Sketching, drawing, oils and watercolours, multimedia artworks – whichever you prefer, there’s room for you to join in. 
Weekly 
Cost: $2 
Experienced artists on hand


 

Sew n Sews

Sewing, Tresca, Community Centre
Tresca's needlecraft group. Socialise and have fun while following your bliss! 
Thursday, 10am - 12pm
Cost: $2 

Mahjong 

Tresca, Mahjong
A social evening for beginners to intermediate players. Experts at scoring are especially welcomed! 
Every fourth Thursday at 7pm 
Cost: $1 per session



Community Lunch 

Tresca, community, lunch
Delicious meals cooked by our volunteers giving you an opportunity to have lunch and socialise with others from your community. Everyone welcome! 
Every fortnight on Thursday - please contact us for dates  
Cost: $4 donation 

Tatana Quilters

For all lovers of hand quilting, come and join others of similar passion to share skills & knowledge, have a chat & a cuppa.
Mondays - 10am - 2pm

Book Club 

Tresca, book club
Run with the assistance of the State Library of Tasmania's book club group. Tresca's Book Club alternates monthly between reading books chosen from the State Library's book club catalogue, and reading and lending members' own books. 
 
First Wednesday of the month at 7pm 
Annual Membership $63, concession $48
